He admitted not knowing anything about the complaint being filed until someone saw it on social media. They were caught with their pants down when the face of the program got charged with a sex crime.

I don’t blame Whitman one bit in this. He has handled this extraordinarily well so far in my opinion. As a matter of fact I’ll say the same for Underwood. Those two, listening to them, understand the bigger picture. Kudos to both of them…

I just don't understand how you knew something was up in late September and then you are surprised in December when a complaint is filed. Just saying our cops couldn't get info out of their cops and being done with it appears to have been very shortsighted

On the flip side, how do you suspend a player when you don’t even know there’s anything been done wrong?? Even the cops hadn’t been willing at that time to do anything about it, and you’re three states away…

Anytime a kid has sex you have something to be concerned about and who is to say this isn’t any different than any other thing in their lives at that age…

For one, the process described in the press conference only required an allegation to get the process rolling. It sounded like they knew it involved inappropriate touching, but not much else. Understandable that they lacked info on specifics.

The issue is they had zero clue the investigation had been proceeding this whole time or that there was a chance charges were going to be filed. They just assumed it was done since they had heard nothing. Did they even try and keep tabs on what was going on? Doesn't sound like it since they were just as surprised as any of us.

I guess I’ll repeat myself - you watched the presser, you know Whitman said they reached out multiple times to find out what was up and heard nothing.

So unless Whitman was just lying, yes, they tried to keep tabs on what was going on.  Surely that’ll stop you from acting like a dumbass about it!
