I would have forgone the run in those situations. Neither team seemed  effective on x down and short today. I think I made that comment to you via text when the Brown was failing to convert in those situations as well.

When you need a half yard, it is better to try to beat them to the punch even if they are better, than to give them time to see what’s going on and react.

Read someone claim Flacco has had more games with 250 passing yards and 2 touchdowns in the last 3 weeks than Fields has had in his entire career.

To be fair, Flacco got to rack up over 200 yards in the 4th quarter today playing against an Eberlose defense. Fields doesn't get that luxury.
