Interesting topic (obviously). I find it hard to call quarterbacks who didn’t get a 2nd contract with their teams, or teams that traded you to upgrade “hits.” I think calling Murray a “hit” is slightly generous as well.

Found this tidbit about the Bills trading Diggs. If the Bears can trade back at 9 and get a first next year and their first this year and a couple extra picks this year I think you do it…

If Odunze, Nabers, or Alt is there I’d have a hard time passing one of those guys up. If they are all gone I’d be fine trading down 15 spots. Would be pretty happy to get Johnny Newton and a 2025 1st rounder. Newton could be top 20 though.

And yet today's fishwrap is mentioning the Vikes possibly having to give up the 11th and 23rd pick in this year's draft plus next year's 1st rounder, to move up to #5 to take JJ McCarthy.

Da Bears: we'll give you a 6th rounder in next year's draft but that's because we're not picking McCarthy at #5.

The Chargers are mulling over both offers.  :D
