You literally saw (and we know) he can run. Nothing says he’s a good QB though. It’s all his legs and athleticism. He constantly, as you saw that first half, holds onto the ball way too long. That half changed nothing in his evaluation for the future.

Fields has disappeared after that playcall you were so mad about.  The offense has produced -15 yards since then, and Fields has taken multiple sacks and threw a dangerous AF ball out of a sack on 3rd and 18 from his own 15.  Those things cannot happen.  That isn't ALL because of a bad 4th down playcall, no matter how much you want it to be.

That throw with 20 whatever seconds left was way too late. Indicative of the problem he has.

It’s called a counter argument. So apparently I’ll have to say the decision to move one from Fields can be justified a few thousand more times.

You did NOT use it as a counter argument.  You directly appealed to Howie Long's credentials and compared them to people who disagreed with him to invalidate counter arguments.  You literally said the snarky "Apparently Howie hasn’t consulted the HQ2." shit.  You're doing the 8 year old "look I'm not touching it!" thing, and we all see through it.

True, but I also don’t expect perfection. This is one of the NFLs best offenses. The Bears can’t overcome the Lions if Getsy is setting the Lions up for success. It should have been at least 13-0.

But Getsy got stupid going with the shotgun sneak and then giving the ball to a WR on 4th and 1.

In the future if you don't want to come off like you're invalidating opinions you don't agree with, don't do the "but what do they know?!" or "I guess they didn't consult with YOU" thing.  That's a pretty direct and obvious attempt to use someone else's credibility to invalidate opinions that disagree with you.

You do see it’s because of his legs and athleticism though, right? I’m trying to be sincere and in saying this. He hasn’t shown anything passing wise to justify it. It’s always those things. That’s not a franchise QB.
