Tamales are overrated. But the Chicago tamale guy is not overrated.

Judging by the lack of pushback not that unpopular of an opinion. But then no one has posted in The Deuce for a month.

I like good authentic ones if they get the meat ratio right. I like sauce on them and the hotter and tangier the better

Honestly, it’s really only the hot sauce that makes them that edible. I like a good habanero for tamales.
