Johnell Davis hits a 3 with 0.4 sec to go for a 66-63 home win vs

North Texas.
FAU squeezing out a home win over N Tx just doesn't have the same feel as squeezing out a home win over the Hoosiers.

They had another head scratcher at UTSA. 112-103 in OT.
Unusual team. They looked pretty dangerous against us and we had to play a great game to get by them. They tool AZ to two OTs.
Then they look average against shit teams.
I think they play down to their competition.
They play Memphis twice coming up.

Illini seem to do the exact same thing now and in the past...play down to competition. I hope BU now has that figured out, but us having a hard time recently with some wins, states otherwise.

They've got the same coach and the same players as last year. If they've decided that they're good after last year and that's good enough, it doesn't work that way.

#5 Tennessee loses at home to South Carolina. First road win against a top 5 team for South Carolina since 1996-97.

#3 UNC's 9-0 conference season ends at the hands of 9-11, 2-7 in ACC Georgia Tech.

They're still scorching the net from three. 10/17 so far this game. Shooting 63% overall.

That and Purdue going 13/22 on free shots is helping their chances to get out of Mackey with a W.

46-8 FT disparity. Hard to overcome that no matter how many threes you hit.
