If we're going to beat 1 of them I would think FAU at a neutral Madison Square Garden might be a better chance than at Knoxville. We did ok at MSG last year.

Rutgers will be a pickem.  Illini will be 3-4 pt favs over FAU.  Tennessee will be a 6-7 pt favorite over illini.  Illinois has played 4 games against teams outside the top 275.  2 of which were in the 330s.

I think both Rutgers and FAU are toss ups.
I would think Tennessee at home is a loss.
Could go 0-3 or 3-0 or anything in between.

If we lose both of those then the only for sure Top 25 type games left are the 4 conf games vs Purdue and MSU.
OSU and Wisconsin might sniff around with us in Top 25 ish range at times.

We could be scrambling to get in if 10-10 and early exit in BTT and just a home win vs MSU.

But if people start playing up to ability we could get things really going in next couple weeks.

RAC/Jersey Mike's has always been a tough venue for opposing teams but IIRC Rutgers did lose their fair share at home last year. But still life on the road in conference play can be a bitch.

Fully expect Tenn to be a loss. FAU is formidable but we can take them @MSG.

Skyy Clark had his best game as a college player. Scored 29 points and went 15/16 from the free shot line to hold off New Mexico St in OT.

He is bulky and kind of slow, but can be effective with his physical size and angles. We didn't see him attack to get fouled like that last year.
Hard to argue with scoring in double figures every game and he had 20 and 19 vs Texas and Indiana.

Epps has 65 points in his last two games with 13 3 pointers.
Avg 20 ppg./ 5 assists/ and shooting 45% from 3.

Melendez on other hand has been pretty bad. 2-21 on threes.

We sure could use Brandon Lieb's free shot prowess. All 8 of his points were on free throws vs Wright St. 13/16 on the season. He hasn't done much else though.

I believe he is no longer in Georgia's starting lineup.

You are right. He played 20 minutes off the bench and went 1/10 with 3 TOs and 0-8 from 3.  :o
He may be one of those kids that just can't handle the stress at this level even though he has some obvious skills.

Melendez, the one dude who went to LSU and broke something, the other Puerto Rican guy who went to St Johns and sucked and left again.

Seems a recurring theme with guys who left that thought they should have been better even though they were given a lot of PT here and had some success here.

Pods is different since he wasn't given an opportunity here, that's a mistake unlike the three above.
