I personally find Cody Bellinger underwhelming at this point.Bellinger hasn't been the same since winning the MVP 3 years ago and then hurting his arm/shoulder in 2020. All he does at the plate is swing out his ass to hit HRs, which for the most part ends up being a K or weakly hit out. He won't hit the other way to just get a hit. If he does hit one the other way is because he got fooled and barely got wood on the ball. Defensively, he is very good and can run like the wind. Do the Cubs have a hitting coach that will work on him and straighten him out?? Right now he's a .215 hitter with an occasional HR and bad with runners in scoring position. And being with the Dodgers he was getting to hit with runners on base.
