I’d watch out for the Arizona game. If he misses that game, he’s gone. There’s no way a pro prospect would miss that particular game given the hype around it, the home atmosphere etc unless he was in fact transferring out which the moment he confirms it Brad will kick him to the curb

I think it’s a business decision for him. Curbelo knows he’s playing bad. So maybe the better move for him personally is to opt out on the season and come up with whatever excuse he can think of which will prevent further loss in his draft stock?
He’s been practicing since October. If anyone knows how bad the team is, it’s Curbelo. Nobody loses more personally from a bad season than the PG. So you look at it that way, makes sense to bail

I have close friend who was second in national collegiate Tri a couple years ago. Elite athlete and great person. Works for VA in DC.
Got hit on her bike and had major concussion a couple months ago. Still recovering emotionally and physically.

To be perfectly honest Curbelo is kind of a bad fit in the B1G, getting bumped and checked and shoved when driving and dribbling the ball isn't good for his game, he'd probably fit better in a matador defense league like the ACC or something

Really hard to assess him from this bad luck injury plagued year, but your point is well taken. He likes freedom of movement.
Until he gets a reliable jump shot and is stronger with the ball he will be a mixed bag wherever he plays.
The flashes of brilliance are extraordinary, but you need more positives than negatives out there.
