Title: Matt Campbell Worship
Post by: Custard on December 19, 2020, 12:15:47 PM: I get that he’s done a nice job at Iowa State but the Big 12 is historically weak right now. Texas is down. Baylor is down. Texas Tech is down. TCU is down. WV is down. Oklahoma isn’t as good as they’ve been recently.

Iowa State lost to Louisiana by 17 and perennial fraudsters Oklahoma State. They, like a bad K State team, caught Oklahoma napping at the beginning of the year. They’re getting pantsed so far in this game by that same Oklahoma team.

I cannot see any reason this team deserves to be ranked 6th in the country and in the conversation for CFP. I’m not quite sure Matt Campbell is the absolute stud he’s made out to be. He is doing a nice job at a historically tough place to win but I believe a lot of it has to do with the mediocrity of the conference.

Some teams seem to have had a lot of trouble this year, either getting out of the gate, injuries, or Covid.

You don’t think Biden did the same with the Chinese?! I’d be much more worried about them than the Russians.

I don’t think Beckman has enough baseline intelligence to entertain conspiracy theories.

But I’m glad you brought him up he makes me feel better about the Bielema hire.
