Ukraine smuggles drone systems into Russia.
Israel builds a secret drone base inside Iran and smuggles weapons systems into Iran.
China buys up US farmland near military bases and sends a spy balloon over the bases and Autopen watches it on tv.
3 Chinese "researchers" are arrested in 2 separate incidents at Detroit's airport on their way to the University of Michigan.
Covid came from a pangolin.

Covid came from a pangolin.
Here's the difference.
Ukraine was invaded by Russia using conventional arms, killing thousands of Ukrainians in an attempt to take their territory.
Israel was attacked on October 7 by a terrorist group funded by Iran, with a long history of terror attacks against Israel and a generalized history of wanting the Jewish state dismantled.
The United States is China's biggest customer. Their economy exists because of the symbiotic relationship with the US economy. There is no history of direct military altercation between China and the US, the two countries were allied in WW2, on the opposite side of Korea and Vietnam conflicts. While there is disagreement on Taiwan, Taiwan is not US Territory. There are millions of ethnic Chinese who are US Citizens.
An invasion of the US by China - whatever that would mean, would tank the Chinese economy.

I really would love for a collapse of the current Iranian government, but I don't see exactly how. The bombings on their own can't bring the regime down directly. They can hopefully diminish the infrastructure of revolutionary guard corps and the nuclear weapon program, but that still leaves the regime up and running.
People seem to be hoping for Iranians to then rise up against the regime, but I find that difficult to imagine after the bombings have just put them in danger. The majority of people in Iran may not like their government but I doubt they'd take kindly to regime change from outside the country. The Iranian people have to want it. And there is going to have to be some consensus on what a successor government looks like.
Is there any movement or opposition party to even step in if there’s a regime change? And change to what, exactly?

Sure looking like the Iranians made a big mistake with the 10/7 operation. Since then they (and the Soviets) lost Syria. Hezbollah out in Lebanon. Hamas spending its time stealing food aid. Now Bibi controls Iranian, and de facto Iraqi, air space and is picking off Iranian leadership one-by-one. Well at least they still have the support of the Progressive Scum.

US and Israel practiced during Biden administration: Source
The U.S. and Israel had practiced this attack in a military exercise about a year ago, a source in Israel with direct knowledge of the matter confirmed to ABC News.
That exercise was unprecedented because it war-gamed offensive actions against Iranian nuclear capabilities for the first time, according to the source.
This was first planned under the Biden administration, according to the source, who said, "But we did not think a year ago that this would happen now."

Just think of it this way, if Trump hadn’t axed the deal everyone agreed Iran was abiding by out of petty jealousy (he was furious because “the black guy” arranged it and was being lauded for it) none of this would have been necessary.

The suit against the bombing mission was brought by a group called MAGAS for No More Wars. Their attorney argued in court that a recent U.S intelligence community assessment found no evidence that Iran is building a nuclear weapon. The DOJ is expected to petition SCOTUS to review the judge's order.

It wasn't the perfect deal, but it was a start. Of course there were shenanigans, but we've dealt with this issue before, especially with the Soviets. It took hard work, but we negotiated the START treaty at Rekjavic.
Instead of tearing up the agreement, Trump should have worked to make improvements and tighten the screws on Iran during his first term. Leaving the agreement emboldened Tehran, hastened their nuclear program and made the US an untrustworthy partner.
Now we're on an island with only one real friend on this issue. The bombing may delay Iran's nuclear ambitious, but it won't stop them.
-
Let's face it, the latest impetus for this was 10/7 and Bibi is just going up the ladder. Especially since all this has helped keep him out of jail. If the dopes in the Middle East were smart, and they prove time and time again they aren't, they should have laid low and let the local courts eat Bibi and spit him out. Instead, he is now the one controlling their skies

Nukes have become a red herring. Nukes are a status symbol more than anything else. There’s one major deterrent to using a nuke, it’s called mutual assured destruction. The only country in the history of the world that’s used a nuclear weapon on another country is…the United States.

I cheerlead people getting ripped off the streets and deported with no due process? I voted for people who entered this country illegally to be removed from this country. Primarily criminals and people causing problems. We wouldn’t have to do this if the border hadn’t just been left open for years but I don’t see you pointing at that. Not all of these people are here to pick the fucking vegetables. You bleeding hearts are the ones that get us into trouble because you think the bad folks just need another chance. Fuck that.

Thank goodness they did. Saved a shitton of American lives. The island hopping was brutal in the lead up to the nukes.

Thanks to Biden we have to be cautious because there might be Iranian’s that entered the country illegally. Which equates to terrorist attacks on our homeland. Thanks, Tempo and Biden!

Not to mention all the strawmen that entered illegally.

It’s been happening for 50 years. Reagan gave 3 million of them amnesty. It’s also been happening partly because of American foreign policy. There are no clean hands on either side of the aisle. The tactics being used by this administration are fascist and sometimes illegal.
-
I have zero problem deporting known lawbreakers. Serious lawbreakers. Or “bad hombres” as Dear Leader would call them.

If you don't mind, my Dad dropped plenty of bombs. His plane went down the 1st flight after my Dad's last flight in that plane. He never mentioned bombing enough people to satisfy anyone.
-
Are you really taking the position that nuking Japan and ending the war did not save American lives?
I think it’s pretty debatable that it was necessary. I supposed it may have saved some American lives, but it probably didn’t save lives. The moral debate is one which can be had, although I know that’s not your jam.

This has moved to the top of yiur bad take list. Talk about revisionist history.
Okinawa was the deadliest battle in the Pacific with over 70,000 Japenese and over 10k Americans killed and, i think, the last island taken before Hiroshima was bombed. That battle ended, what 1 month plus before Hiroshima?
Yeah, taking Japan was going to be a cakewalk. JFC.

First off, I didn’t praise nor condemn the use of atomic weapons in Japan. I only said the U.S. is the only country to use that type of weapon on another country; that’s unequivocally true. The rest, can be debated. But it won’t be here, by me.

And, in a war, whose lives are you going to care about saving more? Yours or theirs? As noted by General Patton:
No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.

Oh, some of the men told a reporter they entered legally? Ope!
Vast majority of those deported have been criminal scum. The progressives are convinced a lot of those that have been deported are innocent fathers and soccer coaches because they can’t find any criminal info about them online, which apparently makes them upstanding citizens. I tend to trust the people doing their jobs to get these assholes out of our country and keep them out. They have better info than the incel internet sleuths trying to convince everyone these are actually good guys.
At the barest minimum almost every damn one of the people being deported are here illegally. Sure, a few mistakes will be made along the way in an operation of this scope. But again, we wouldn’t be here right now if Obama3 hadn’t left the border open. Elections have consequences.

I think I'm reaching a point where I believe all of this is just performance art.
At this point, all three actual or wannabe autocrats are in better positions. Bibi launches some missiles, kills some people and maybe even a D list mullah. Iran sends a few back and pulverizes some fields, accidentally hits a hospital or two. Mostly the missiles get shot down. Trump sends out the bat signal so Iran moves their people, centrifuges, and uranium, Trump bombs what's left. They call him up and tell him we're gonna send some "retaliation" at Qatar.
Defense companies make some money making new bombs, Trump/Bibi get to walk around wrapped in a flag, Ayatollah gets on TV to say we retaliated against the great Satan and they have asked for a cease fire.
If any of these sides wanted to cripple the other, it would have been trivial. Take out Ayatollah - trivial. Poison water supply in several major US cities. Take out Israeli branches of major US companies. Etc...
Performance art.

Reasonable take.

I think I'm reaching a point where I believe all of this is just performance art.

So…the Cato Institute doesn't find many monsters, rapists, murderers & all MAGA’s other descriptors among the deportees. How is it that ICE knows where all the non-criminals are, but they can’t seem to find the real criminals committing the crimes?
A combination of impossible objectives, poor intel, inept leadership and agents afraid of their bosses AND the possible danger.
Stephen Miller, the Orange King’s latter day Martin Bormann, is not a happy camper. “You gotta pump up those numbers!”

Trump says "Israel dropped the biggest load he's ever seen"
That's saying a lot coming from that dumpster

I’m sure Bibi dropped a good one on Trump’s face.

Quite the way to say, "Happy birthday, Tempo."

Did I say there was anything wrong with it?

Bibi unloading on Trump’s face sounds kinda hot, actually.

https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/local-spies-with-lethal-gear-how-israel-and-ukraine-reinvented-covert-action-74c54375
When Israel launched its 12-day attack on Iran in June, a network of secret agents on the ground proved critical in crippling Tehran’s defenses. Some of the most secret operatives weren’t professional spies or commandos in camouflage. They were ordinary locals empowered by Israeli high-tech gadgetry.
Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, had spent years identifying and cultivating inside Iran a silent force, including victims of Iranian repression, ethnic minorities sidelined by regime policies, and people from Afghanistan and other neighboring countries who can live and work openly in Iran. At secret camps outside Iran, Israel trained its recruits to operate sophisticated automated and remotely controlled equipment, according to people familiar with the operation.
Then Mossad instructed them to go about their daily routines across Iran, as part of what it calls a “drawer operation”—one that sits quietly in reserve until the drawer needs to be opened. That day was June 13, when the strategically located agents used rockets, drones and other weapons smuggled into Iran to destroy nearby air-defense systems and missile launchers, according to Israeli statements and people familiar with the operation.

The irony, probably, is that caving to Trump on Lebanon is finally going to get his sorry ass fired.

A new poll shows the bloc of Zionist parties opposed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu winning a governing majority on its own for the first time, a major shift in the political landscape ahead of elections that must be held by late October.
