That picture actually came from The Snopes.

You cannot even get this right! Are you sure you are a Bear fan? 2006-7 NFC Championship game? Bear - Saint? Remember that?
Really getting hard to take you seriously these days....sad!

What a snag by Kmet
-
What a snag by Kmet
Best catch of his career. Outstanding play. Bagent looked good first drive. I think they caught NO sleeping. We’ll see how the Bears do this next drive.
I was only half paying attention. Was Sweat on the field?
-
Not a good decision there, Tyson.
-
Bagent was feeling himself a bit too much.
-
Lol Allen accepts a penalty when refusing it would have made it 4th and 2
-
A bit surprised they overturned that. I thought he made it but it was close.
-
Kmet looking like Kelce out there
-
Kmet looking like Travis Kelce when Taylor Swift is in attendance.
-
Lol Allen accepts a penalty when refusing it would have made it 4th and 2
That was dumb. Did not think the spot would be overturned either.
-
I’m sorry, but Fields can’t do the things Bagent can do in this offense.fields does need to watch tape in him and make these throws. We’d be so much better added in with all the other things he can do.
-
Coke Kmet looks much like Ashton Kuchar…
-
I’m sorry, but Fields can’t do the things Bagent can do in this offense.fields does need to watch tape in him and make these throws. We’d be so much better added in with all the other things he can do.
And by the same token, Bagent can’t do the things Fields can do. A combination of both would be great.
-
Let them get some tape on Bagent and he won’t look as invincible, trust me.
-
And by the same token, Bagent can’t do the things Fields can do. A combination of both would be great.
BUT, I’ll take what Bagent is doing every week all day everyday.
-
The sound that triggers Bears fans everywhere

BUT, I’ll take what Bagent is doing every week all day everyday.
Until DCs get sufficient tape on him and learn how to stop his fairly pedestrian physical skills.
-
Kmet is starting to blossom!
-
He’s balling out. Looks like Kelce with Taylor Swift in attendance.
-
Until DCs get sufficient tape on him and learn how to stop his fairly pedestrian physical skills.
You don’t know that…
-
I think the idea of benching Fields is crazy, but Fields should be taking notes for sure.
-
I was shocked when they cut PJ Walker, but it was definitely the right call.
-
Getsy’s offense leads the NFL in false starts.
-
We didn’t see that last year.
-
Foreman is tired of being a healthy inactive.
-
Great throw by Bagent, Moore just couldn’t haul it in…
-
Depending on how Fields is when he comes back, I’m seriously considering trading him during the draft or sometime this offseason…
And I’m not the only one thinking that…

Rough day for Moore
-
Lake Zurich Roquan making plays out there
-
Gutless Getsy strikes again
-
Great throw by Bagent, Moore just couldn’t haul it in…
A decent throw. A tad high. But a good enough throw. He catches it if not double teamed.
-
Montez Sweat renting from Chase Claypool is pretty funny.
-
Lake Zurich Roquan making plays out there
I thought he was Lake Zurich Urlacher?
-
That sideline to sideline shit won’t cut it. This is Bagent’s limitations.
-
Cut Velus already. Dude ain't it.
-
How does Velus Jones keep getting onto the field?
-
That’s why they don’t want Bagent throwing across the middle a lot.
-
Bagent needs more zip on those throws
-
Has Sweat done anything?
-
Has Sweat done anything?
Maybe a pressure or two
-
Bagent needs more zip on those throws
And not throw behind guys, especially over the middle.
-
Thought they would get fucked on that spot.
Bears still have life.
-
Kmet is playing like a god damned man.
-
Still can’t snap, but apparently the line has learned to pass block some.
-
RIP Bagentmania.
-
RIP Bagentmania.
Another throw over the middle behind the receiver. This isn't D2 kid....
-
You can't blame the protection. The line has held up really well in pass pro. Bagent had plenty of time on all three INTs.
-
Velus Jones strikes again
-
Time to see if the kid has a game tying(winning?) drive in him
-
RIP Bagentmania.
Take it back, might lead the game-winning drive…
-
Lol imagine watching the bears on Sunday instead of doing literally anything else
-
So much for the O Line...
-
Time to see if the kid has a game tying(winning?) drive in him
No dice.
-
Three chances, three turnovers. Yep. Tyson should be the starter…
-
Justin needs to adopt the good parts of Bagent’s game and ignore the parts where he pretty much sucks.
-
Lol imagine watching the bears on Sunday instead of doing literally anything else
We're all masochists.
-
If only he had better players around him. He needs at least the rest of the year. This games over.
You can’t judge him on this though…
-
Will the real Slim Bagent please stand up? Please stand up…
-
If only he had better players around him. He needs at least the rest of the year. This games over.

😂

Blaming Getsy
-
Blaming Getsy
Yeah, Bagent doesn’t call those INT plays. The Bears are tanking so you can’t judge Bagent and he needs All-pro’s around him at least in order to judge. DJ Moore isn’t even a true #1 and the O-line is BAD! It’s only his third start for Christ’s sake.
-
Today’s game read like a Dickens novel. “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…”
-
Blaming Getsy
At least Bagent can run the offense the way Getsy wants!
-
My girls had basketball practice this afternoon so I went out to my Jeep to chill/take a nap. Got on here and saw there was a Bears game on, so I tried to find it on my phone to help me sleep, but it was blacked out on my YouTubeTV. Had to put the Packers on instead. Sun was shining in through the windshield on my face, breeze blowing through the car. Slept great. *chef’s kiss*

And don’t say just because he’s a generational talent. Nobody knew that at the time. You get the QB you want and he elevates people. Here’s some examples…

What you fail to recognize is that Stroud (and Burrow) are doing things we’ve rarely ever seen from 1st and 2nd year quarterbacks. They are the exception, not the norm. Has Fields been working on an accelerated learning curve? No. Does that mean he’s no good or a lost cause? Also no.

He’s been saying for weeks that they are very likely to move on from Fields (and should) FTR. Spiegel is even more in on a new QB.
-
Also, the Texans have an OC that spent the last 6 years with Shanahan. We got Andy Reid’s sauna room buddy and Aaron Rodgers’ towel boy. 😂
-
Actually, he spent a couple/three years with Shanahan in Washington too. So 8-9 years with Shanahan.
We got guys off the wrong trees.

Funny because it’s true!

3 games for Bagent, 3 years for Fields. And Fields still making those mistakes Bagent is and hasn’t ever ran the offense like him yet. Yet one “needs more time” and another is labeled a”backup.” Ok 👌🏼
And in no way shape or form am I saying Bagent is gonna amount to a great QB. It more an indictment of Fields.

Yep. But the Cult is going to compare a rookie who has started a couple of games to a third year guy who has over 30 starts.

Exactly. He doesn't need all pros at every position like someone else.

No shit. Any QB will look ok with All-Pros on their team. A good QB is supposed to make that happen or in spite of. Fields just might be Dak. Sounds like a great plan!

LMFAO

He doesn’t need all pros at every position to score 3 points in the 2nd half and turn it over 3 consecutive possessions? Very impressive stuff.
-
Yep. But the Cult is going to compare a rookie who has started a couple of games to a third year guy who has over 30 starts.
He turned it over 4x today yet you are still rubbing his dick on your face. Bagent has done better than anyone could have realistically expected, but it’s clear he’s not as good as Justin Fields and talk of a “quarterback controversy” is absurd. Fields’ last 17 starts are comparable to Hurts’ runner MVP year of last year. Look at the numbers. And yes, for the millionth time, there are things he needs to get better at still.
-
I’d probably try and keep Fields cheap and spend every dime I have in the trenches and a few skill players

The Bears have soooo many problems that the quarterback on a rookie deal is wayyyyy down the list of things that need fixed immediately. It’s a clown show of epic proportions.
I don’t even know where you start to fix this because the people making all the big decisions are the ones that really need to be replaced. But in the meantime I do know that good line play, adequate play calling and a couple of skill players can make average QBs look pretty good, and bad line play and play calling can make great QBs look terrible.
Finding stud franchise QBs is like finding a needle in a haystack, so it makes sense to me to hang onto a guy with considerable physical talent that you don’t have to pay a fortune for and give him a chance to be successful than keep plugging in new potentially expensive QBs into a bad offense.
Blaming the QB for the Bears’ troubles is like blaming the president for gas prices.
-

They are better than Claypool (for half a season) and Dante Pettis.
-

Wait. You basically had Brock Purdy penciled in as the next Tom Brady last year.

I find the majority of that agreeable. The Bears have lots of problems. Fields' inconsistency is only one of them.
Having said that, if Fields hadn't gotten hurt against Minnesota and finds a way to win that game, everyone would have been talking about growth in his development. He threw a whole 10 passes in that game (completed 6 with a pick, can't even remember if it was his fault tbh), but 10 mostly uneventful passes and an injury basically made everyone forget possibly the only back to back 125+ passer rating games we've seen from a Bears quarterback. And they forget he's already proven himself one of the best running QBs ever, if not the best. Lamar never ran the ball as explosively.
-
One thing that cracks me up about the Bagent nuthuggers…they say things like “This is what it’s supposed to look like! He does things Fields can’t do! He should start!” And then the moment things go south it’s “We can’t realistically expect Bagent to perform to Fields! They want to have it both ways.

Hilarious. The sad part is you believe this shit. Fields sucks dude. We all know Bagent isn't the answer. But neither is Fields.
Also love how you conveniently omit his shitty numbers against the Vikings from your propaganda. He can't read a zone defense. He blows. He's done come April. Deal with it.

No one has said any of this except for you.
You always fail to mention that Fields took 4 sacks in the Viking game while he was in there when discussing your fantasy of Fields leading a comeback. Rsalistically the odds are better, based on history and his 4th qtr 60 rating lifetime, that he would have taken 4 more sacks, threw a pick 6, and fumbled than led a comeback.

6 for 10 with a deflected pass for an Int. It was far from the worst game we’ve seen quarterbacked by the Bears. It’s not like he turned it over 4x and on 3 successive possessions with a chance to win or tie.

You are delusional on the comeback talk. Rock Morrissey has you pegged.

We all knew he was an undrafted D2 guy for a reason. We also knew he wasn't Fields. Shame on us for hoping he would win games.

CJ Stroud is throwing the ball to Nico Collins and Tank Dell
Chase Daniel analyzes the A22 around the league and yesterday said that “Collins, Dell, and Schultz, are nearing the top of the league.” Of course, he said quarterback play could be/probably is a contributor to that. Said he thinks Dell is a rising star.

Reasonable. Except I think Poles is doing an overall good job. Perfect? No. But he’s done a great job with the defense.
-
The offense is where we’ve seen some iffy decisions. We’ve still got two very inexperienced tackles, though both have upside. Center position is the worst in the league probably bar none. Nate Davis has been mostly a disappointment. Is it because of his missed time early in the year? I suppose that question will be answered next year.
Claypool was an utter disaster. Easily his biggest blunder. He has not done enough to upgrade the receiver room this year or last. Tyler Scott is Velus Jones’ twin at this point. He could be fine down the road, but I’d much rather have Puka Nacua or Tank Dell.
Obviously acquiring DJ was huge, but I don’t think it took a genius to make that trade. DJ is a terrific player, but you need more than one good receiver. Mooney hasn’t been good since at least his injury.
