It is hilarious that people considered the possibility that any of the nominations would be tanked when it came time to actually vote. More hilarious that everyone on the Hill obviously personally hated Matt Gaetz or else he would have been approved as well.

Have to agree.  I thought Gabbard was the most vulnerable of the Trump nominations, but she'll get through.  As long as Republicans in Congress remain terrified of the consequences to their careers and their families’ lives if they defy Trump, they won’t push back on anything he wants.

What Collins has said ....
An intermediary contacted her.
They were told she would think about a meeting with the accuser or her lawyer.
They were told the lawyer or the accuser should contact the committee doing the confirmation hearing. Collins is not a member of the Armed Services Committee.
Collins says she never heard back.

'I'll think about it' and the suggestion to contact the confirmation hearing committee instead and not hearing back from the intermediary, the accuser or her lawyer doesn't come across as a declination.
