I’d venture to say Enes Kanter is my new favorite NBA player; and 10 minutes ago, I didn’t know who he was.

I’ve barely even watched any Bulls games in years, let alone the rest of the NBA. I watch NBA about as often as I watch hockey; which is pretty much never.

I’m giving some consideration to watching the Bulls this year. My best friend is a big NBA guy and is all over me about it (although he’s a Spurs fan). He’s been “telling me” the Bulls are going to be good. I try telling him “I don’t really care.” But he seems to want me to.

When it comes to sports, I’m down to NFL, Illini basketball, and golf. That’s about it.

I did watch a lot of the White Sox this year. More than I’ve watched probably since Thomas/Ventura we’re on the team.

I tune into the very occasional Illini football game. If the opponent intrigues me. For whatever reason, I was intrigued by Penn St this past week. Watched basically the entirety of that game except the overtimes (promised the family I’d take them to a pumpkin patch). Had to finish the Illini game on the radio and via texts with my best friend.

I’m Bears, Illini football and basketball, and St. Louis Cardinals. Not really anything else.

Am a fan of golf when Tiger or Dustin Johnson play, but otherwise, nah.
