If they had Adebawore I think the front seven might have been (good?). I would not be surprised to see Poles make a trade for Chase Young. No real idea what it would take to get him.

My point was that if they had drafted Adebawore that there could have been significant optimism about the front 7 as well.

Dan weiderer was on the score, and Laurence Holmes asked him an interesting question that touches on my point about Wright last week. Did the Bears like Wright more than they didn’t like Jalen Carter. Said he couldn’t really say, but said the Bears were super impressed with the apparently brutal workout they put Wright through the day before Easter.

Also mentioned that Carter quit on his pro day work out and would have “tapped out” even earlier if Nolan Smith hadn’t been there pushing him to keep going.

Interesting stuff. I’d love to know their reasoning for having no interest in Adebawore.

I’d love to have 3 talented rookies battling for playing time on the DL. I think the FA guys they signed are solid if not standout players.
