If you were to make a guess, what you'd look at was which way the line moved, and if the team that the line moved towards wins, that's bad. So let's say Illinois started favored by 2, and Arkansas ended up favored by 2, it means they needed to move the line because too much action was coming to Arkansas. So if Arkansas won, it wouldn't be good.
