That was the year we should have landed Collins, and we were supposed to have Gordon and maybe Rose the following year.  Plus Beverley washed out of Arkansas so I'm not really sure he changes much here.

The truth of the Bulls is that they had the greatest NBA draft pick of all time happen just a few years before they got a top-50 all-time player to sign a long-term contract for a fraction of his value and that otherwise they have no interest in doing anything other than building a back-half playoff team that can sell tickets to the loyal fans.
