I actually just heard that clip two minutes ago. Sounds like a good dude, and a hardworking guy. He mentioned his agent was probably having talks but that that wasn’t at the top of his priority list just yet.

Poles basically said that he didn’t think Montez was available, then he was, and that he was definitely going to be traded yesterday thus the high 2nd pick. They really wanted him in the building. Obviously, whoever traded for him was going to have the best crack at keeping him.

Mistakes are piling up, yes. Can they be fixed? Yes. Is Poles the man to fix it? I’m probably a little less sure every day, but I am not jumping ship yet.

Eh, it’s a bit early to say that. He’s literally 8 games into a rebuild. It takes a few years usually. Jacksonville had back to back #1 picks and now they are a solid playoff team if not a Super Bowl contender.
