I saw him play in college in a MD- Duke game at MD in like 1977 or so.

It sounded like Dykes. I've always thought he does decent work. So if he says the offensive player doesn't have a chance, I'll accept that the rule needs tweaking.

Northwestern must be better than what I thought they’d be.  They beat Michigan State on the road, then beat DePaul 83-45 today.  They only lost to Auburn by 1 point. 

I don’t quite understand it given that it’s the same guys minus Nance/Young.

Neither is a world beater but can be very good when on.

Well he is only a freshman and reclassified to get there early. I don’t think not playing much is a big deal or surprise. He has gotten some minutes but Arizona is damn good.

They improved, by a lot. Not long ago, I said they were crap. But Boo Buie has been coming to play, and they stopped shooting 30 percent from the field.

IIRC, in the Auburn game, they held the opponent below 33 percent shooting, but then they clanged most of their own shots. With even a lick of offense, they would have won.

Also, Auburn sucks and cheats, and it was good to see USC beat them yesterday.

We laid an egg against Penn St no doubt.

But at least we didn’t give up 92 points at home in a loss to 3-9 Eastern Illinois like Fran’s boys did. 😂
