Disconcerting to see Coach Prime throw a team together and be competent versus what we have seen this year from Bielema. But hey, at least the Illini were able to substitute players last night without getting Too Many Men penalties or having to call timeouts. That was an improvement over week 1.

Unlike Tempo, Fox doesn't need a few more games to realize Bielema's squad sucks this year and they moved the pregame show next week from Champaign to Boulder. Hilarious

People should be pissed that Deon Sanders can bring a competent team into Boulder while Bielema can't field a team that can block or tackle in year 3.

This is very much a “what have you done for me lately?” crowd. Lately, meaning last week.

So they weren't Lovie's recruits?

By and large. But i just love how you have a million micro-narratives that ALWAYS perfectly support your larger narrative. You’ve literally got an out for every situation. EG:

Poles didn’t start tanking until he realized his quarterback was awful. He was so awful he tanked a season but didn’t bother replacing him or adding anyone significant to the quarterback room. Why?

Bryce Young: too short. CJ Stroud: Ohio State doesn’t produce good NFL quarterbacks. Anthony Richardson: sucks. Will Levis: sucks.

Derek Carr: sucks. Jimmy G: something about an injury and his contract. Also, he sucks. Baker Mayfield: he sucks.

You’ve literally said all of this. Again, the notion that a GM would tank a season because he thinks his quarterback sucks, and then turn around and do absolutely NOTHING to bring in competition or a replacement is theater of the absurd type shit. And all of your little micro-narratives serve your argument perfectly.

We went over all of this via text message. I explained why he didn't replace the QB yet

Yes, and I just recapped it.

There is no way a GM isn’t adding to the QB room (even if just a retread starter) if he was so dissatisfied with his QB that he decided to tank an entire season.

That would be in effect choosing to tank two seasons. No GM is doing that on purpose.
