I can’t speak for the national data, but I’ve noticed the price of many things going up. I do all the shopping in my family (not counting Amazon).
Wanting America to be better is not America-hating, it’s patriotism.

He said “I’m sure it’s being investigated;” and left it at that. Sounds more like supposition to me. And if it’s being investigated, who’s investigating it? Trump loyalists?

Your AI didn't read the IC IG transcript. ;D

Was there some specific point of contention?

Does a whistleblower need to have first-hand information to come forward with a complaint?

"In general, whistleblower laws do not require a whistleblower to present first-hand information; authorities are interested in hearing from anyone who has a reasonable belief of wrongdoing. In fact, second-hand reports may be more credible, according to a study in the Harvard Business Review, as they are more likely to identify critical issues that implicate other employees and tend to have less emotion and bias associated."

Ossoff: How much do you guys know about Jared Kushner—Ivanka’s husband? He’s on the Saudi payroll for $2 billion. And now he’s leading American diplomacy in the Middle East, apparently, while at the very same time asking princes and sheikhs to give him billions more.

Can you imagine a normal sitting U.S. ambassador just hitting MBS for billions? But he’s a Trump, a royal, a princeling. The rules are for us, not for them.

And it’s not just Jared. Never before have we seen so little effort to hide so much corruption. The Mar-a-Lago mafia has taken American corruption to spectacular new heights.

The PBS NewsHour has documented the Trump family's unprecedented conflicts of interest. Jared Kushner, a 'volunteer' with no official position, has $6 billion in assets from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar-the same governments he is negotiating with on Middle East peace. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have invested in drone companies that are now competing for Pentagon contracts in the war their father started.

Forbes estimated that Eric and Don Jr., they were worth about $40, $50 million each before the 2024 election. About a year later, Eric at $400 million and Donald Trump Jr. at about $300 million.

They're using war and diplomacy to enrich Themselves.

Ossoff is emphasizing the corruption theme just like Magyar used to defeat Orban in Hungary.  This message may resonate with ordinary Americans struggling with the increased cost of living.  I think Ossoff would make a strong VP candidate and maybe more.

Unlike the Iranian propaganda you all love so much, Mn’s sources originate here in the USA. Love it or leave it, but quit buying into AI slop that undermines the progress we’ve made there.

AI slop originates in the USA, n’est pas?

Well that’s a bummer. But then again consumer prices didn’t go up even remotely the way the left said they would because exporters and importers ate a lot of it. You all think that no one is capable of adjusting to things in the real world and that everything happens in a vacuum. The markets and the people that serve them are smarter and more nimble than you think. Just like Hormuz. Supply lines are adjusting. It’s not an in-perpetuity thing.

Hey man - they didn’t steal THAT much from you! simmer down!

The May 24, 2018 Whistleblower form instructions are quite clear as to the use of hearsay. The date is in the lower right corner.
The requirement of first hand information is quite clear, as is the role of the IC IG in the absence of first hand information.

And the date of the form that was used in the complaint, May 24, 2018, that was digitally signed on August 13 is quite clear. The same May 24, 2018 date is in the lower right corner.

A President was impeached over a complaint that should have been rejected on day 1 and the form that was used was hidden for years.
The Chair of the HPSCI, Schiff at the time, does have the right to withhold documents in certain instances. Withholding the document is not the issue. What is in the document, and what transpired as a result, is the issue.
And now we know why the document was withheld.,

There's plenty more in the transcripts that were withheld for years.
