We started 1-3 getting killed by North Florida, losing by 1 @Providence when Finke missed the game winning dunk in the final seconds, and then Chattanooga. We rebounded next game when JCL hit a three at the buzzer to get past juggernaut Chicago St.

Illinois does struggle with long athletic teams like Maryland so if Chatt has similar athletes could be a problem

I would think that if you have a team on the bubble, and you have a choice between picking a team with a coach that isn't an asshat, and picking a team with a coach that is a repeat offender, proven asshat, you might steer away from said asshat. 

But it appears that the committee valued their SOS, regardless of getting murdered by all the good teams they played to get the SOS.

Anyway, whatever.  Michigan making the dance makes it far less likely that they fire him.  Which is actually good for us.

I don’t think a coach’s behavior should play into whether a team gets a bid or not.  Their resume is what should.  I don’t think they should be in but it would be shameful if they kept them out because of Howard punching the dude.

Mark Few got a DUI but I haven’t heard anyone say it should hurt their seed.

I think everything should be factored in.  And I think it sucks that Few essentially got a pass for that DUI. 

These fucking coaches make their bank off of the backs of their players.  They should at least be held to some kind of standard of not being a jag.  If they own the program, they own it.  It's up to them to live up to some kind of standards.  And if their behavior affects their school's ablility to compete on the highest levels, then fine.  Does it punish the players? Yep.  But with NIL and relaxed transfer rules, maybe they can evaluate these assholes a little bit closer now.
