R&D while damaging one of our main geopolitical adversaries at a bargin price.

Biden admin was badass!

Yeah what’s a couple hundred billion? At least now that Trump got the minerals deal signed we can get something in return.

We've gotten plenty in return already.

Yep, and no American soldiers lost. I don't count the wackjob kid who was the son of the Trump CIA bureaucrat who was fighting for the Soviets to be an American soldier.

Well, we know the fight for human rights,  self-determination, democracy and respect for international law won't motivate Trump and his followers...I guess ripping off Ukraine's natural resources will.

Everything with Trump is transactional or just blind greed.  Bullying is his personal religion.  If you are in need, he sees an opportunity to exploit you.

I hope a future president tears up the agreement.  We shouldn't be taking advantage of someone's suffering.

Goddamn dude. The ultimate humanitarian right here. Let’s pump a couple hundred billion into Ukraine to keep them sovereign and then tear up an agreement we made to BUY their minerals at a fair price in exchange. For real, whose side are you on? The only reason most sane people recognize for defending Ukraine in the first place is that they have natural resources the west needs. If it was a desert with nothing to offer no one would give a flying fuck. The west fought for Ukraine for what Ukraine has to offer the west. The Putin hatred and the fever dream nonsense that he’s going to put the band back together was all a smokescreen you stupid dumb idiot.

Well, except for the GOP. Because they aren't very good businessmen, bankrupting casinos etc...

For supposedly not having any cards, that was a heck of a hand Zelenskyy played against Putin.

They're not very smart
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Never thought I'd see the day Republicans became Russian shills!
