Given that there’s no advantage to transferring midseason, the odds of him leaving after the 1st semester was low.

But the fact he didn’t play in the Arizona game told me his desire to be in this program is not there. Presumably, it’s still not. So again, he’ll be in the portal next month.

But now you say he stayed because it would be stupid to leave in middle of year, but not stupid for you to promise it. But since he didn't play vs AZ, that means he still wants out even though he has played in all recent games.

And if he transfers after season you will somehow be proven right even though 1 in 4 kids transfer now.

I never said when he’d be in the portal. Only that he would be.

And 1 of 4 players do transfer but most don’t have acclaim Curbelo had coming into the season. The luster is gone, and he’ll be gone by April
