I remember him as the catcher on some pretty good Cardinal teams. While I evolved into a Cubs fan, I was neutral as a kid. I was more a fan of players than teams.
He finished 2nd in the 1967 NL MVP voting behind Cepeda and ahead of Clemente. He really helped steer the young starters like Steve Carlton and Nelson Briles while Bob Gibson was on the DL with the broken leg. And he had his best year of his career at the plate, a lot of big hits the 1st half of the year,
He knew the game which made him a good analyst. But sometimes he just over did it.

RIP, Tim.

US Presidents have been living a lot longer than they used too.

Ford- 93
Carter- 98
Reagan- 93
Bush - 94

Before those 4, only Hoover had made it to 90.

Carter will hold the distinction as longest living president for awhile. Trump, Bush, Clinton will all turn 77 this year.  Biden 81.

90's "Homicide, Life on the Streets" was a good show. Kind of film noir-ish.

I thought he was already dead. Maybe I’m confusing him with someone else.

No, but that’s a good call. Seems like maybe another comedian.
