Wow. Did not know this.
That's a cool story. Good thing they won. Dick Kewanee Jauron just doesn't sound right.
He was a good DB too.

Ugh, terrible. Gene is the GOAT. “No foul play expected,” but that sounds awful weird minus Co2 poisoning.

He really was the GOAT. Hoosiers sure, French Connection, but for me his turn in Mississippi Burning was flat out awesome.

95 years old, possibly threw in the towel.

What a coincidence as I’m in the Danville area today.

Oh fuck. Be careful. If you don't get shot, you'll just have the smell of poverty all over you.

While it's certainly possible to perish from carbon dioxide poisoning, my guess is carbon monoxide was the actual contributor.

But I'm just weird.

I’m about 5 mins from there right now, luckily I don’t actually have to go into town. Not that it was a great place before, but I wonder how the officials in downstate towns that eagerly accepted all the section 8 vouchers to get more money after they tore down the projects in Chicago feel about that move 20 some years on.

Racist red herring. When I go to Lincoln, none of the sketchy folks I see were ever living in the projects in Chicago.
