Rough performance from their DBs.  I thought their O-Line was surprisingly competent.

Never going to get where they need to go with Dalton, though.  His ceiling is far too low, and when you chip away at yardage and take 10 minutes to score, your margin for error is so low.  That endzone pick is a back-breaker.  It also doesn't help that you take 10 minutes to score and then give up a long TD in a minute or so.

My guess going in was about 30-16 with it being ugly much of the game. 2nd/3rd quarters weren’t that bad. Rest of the game, ouch.

Bengals at home should be a clear indicator of whether this defense is washed, or if last night was just an off game.

I expect Dalton to start at least one more.

I don't expect him to be starting by week four.

It's a rough situation for the coaching staff - on one hand, I'm sure they wish they could protect Fields more and give him some more time before throwing him out there.  On the other, they're coaching for their jobs.
