The offense hasn’t been the problem tonight.

How many points did the offense score? I know Bears fans are conditioned to think we must have a strong defensive game to feel worthy of a win, but winning games 35-34 is allowed.

1 assist

So is there anyone here who still doesn’t think Pace and Nagy are in over their heads?

The front 7 for the Bears should be pretty (as usual). The defensive backfield? Mmmmmmm maybe not.

Rough performance from their DBs.  I thought their O-Line was surprisingly competent.

Never going to get where they need to go with Dalton, though.  His ceiling is far too low, and when you chip away at yardage and take 10 minutes to score, your margin for error is so low.  That endzone pick is a back-breaker.  It also doesn't help that you take 10 minutes to score and then give up a long TD in a minute or so.

Ouch lol

My guess going in was about 30-16 with it being ugly much of the game. 2nd/3rd quarters weren’t that bad. Rest of the game, ouch.

If Fields doesn’t start this Sunday, then Pace and Nagy are every bit as dumb as I think they are.

Bengals at home should be a clear indicator of whether this defense is washed, or if last night was just an off game.

I expect Dalton to start at least one more.

I don't expect him to be starting by week four.

It's a rough situation for the coaching staff - on one hand, I'm sure they wish they could protect Fields more and give him some more time before throwing him out there.  On the other, they're coaching for their jobs.

Nagy better bring his ear plugs.
