I’ve been in Detroit quite a few times since 2008. Each trip is more horrifying than the previous. Much of the actual city is a dystopian wasteland. Like the “Life After People” show that used to be on History.

The luckiest, most underwhelming 2-0 team in the league. Nagy and Pagano ball made this game closer than it should have been. They will get shit stomped by the better teams on their schedule if they don't get their act together.

Why did Nagy call a pass play with 3rd and 1 and the giants out of timeouts I believe with a hair over two minutes left?

I get the metrics side of it doesn’t agree with me—2 min warning would have stopped clock anyways then FG attempt doesn’t run much clock.  But the O line was getting huge push and Montgomery led them all the way down the field.

Even assuming the Bears get the FG I still would have loved to have seen two runs rather than a dangerous pass and a made FG that still keeps them within a TD with plenty of time left. Plus the D had been getting gashed all second half. Was anyone surprised at all when they marched right down the field?

Seems like one of those decisions you forget the analytics and stick with what was working in that drive.
