Where are Spark and Tempo to argue about the draft? Where is Royko and his analysis?

Ssssshhhhhhhhh !!
I appreciated Royko's analysis, especially his early in the season ( or was it in pre-season ) 'the skill players can't do anything with this offensive line.'

Why is it I type Royko, and spell-check changes it to Tokyo ?

Keshawn Vaughn, #6 rb taken at pick 76. 1st rb taken is #32 pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Oh brother. How did spell check change it to Edwards-brother ?

Packers fan here.   Judging by GB's draft picks (RB, TE and 3 interior lineman), the Bears should expect the Packers offense to complete the transition away from the McCarthy spread concepts to a run-oriented attack.  This is Matt LaFleur’s offense now.  It will be interesting to see how Rodgers adjusts to the new system.

Pace going small school again. 4 out of 7 picks from small conference schools. Guess he’s gonna get back on that horse no matter how many times it bucks him. Fucking moron.

The Bears signed Ted Ginn

Ted Ginn and Jimmy Graham running routes and Nick Foles dropping back to pass behind this offensive line? I’m thinking Super Bowl!

Good luck with that.  Lamar's in Baltimore.  Heard speculation this afternoon that Rodgers may end up in New England?

I don’t see the Packers trading Rodgers in the immediate future.   Jordon Love obviously needs time to develop.  More importantly, GB would acquire too much dead cap for it to make sense to trade him.  Rodger’s contract goes through the 2023 season.  I think he’ll be the QB for two more seasons at least.

I don't closely follow the NFL, but that may be the biggest unforced error in a draft in the last decade. Signing Foles as his co-starter/etc. may be a close second when you could either sign Andy Dalton or go for broke with Cam Newton/Jameis Winston.

The problem with Newton is that nobody knows whether he can play or at what level. The problem with all of those guys in general is that they haven’t played in a system similar to Nagy’s before, and bringing someone like that in for a “make or break” year is not likely to turn out well in the short term. Pace and Nagy aren’t looking long term at this point, because the long term won’t include them if the short term doesn’t work out.

Foles has played extremely well in a system similar to Nagy’s before, making him the best chance for improving the team THIS year.
