3 issues:
1. Jim Harbaugh isn't Nick Saban
2. Jim Harbaugh isn't Kirby Smart.
3. Kirby Smart has a few weeks to fix things. Jim Harbaugh just happy he saved his job.
Just to be clear, I'm not a Harbaugh fan and definitely not a Michigan fan (unless they're playing Notre Dame). That being said, Nick Saban has *NEVER* led a shitty college team to a victory over a #1 team. Harbaugh coached 2007 Stanford (1-3 at the time, 4-8 season) to a huge upset of #1 USC (4-0 at the time, 11-2 season & #2) at the Coliseum. Ironically, that was only the 2nd biggest upset of the season -- Appalachian State over Michigan was the biggest one. Yes, Saban is a better *college* coach than Harbaugh, but Harbaugh was a much better coach in the NFL than Saban.
Name 1 big game Kirby Smart has won as head coach at Georgia. Beating Oklahoma in the 2018 CFP semifinal, you say? Beating OU in the CFP has been a given for *EVERY* opponent. The SEC East has been the most overrated division in college football for years, perhaps since Urban Meyer was the Gators head coach.
Smart: Jake Fromm >>>> Justin Fields
Me: LMAO & thank you, Coach Smart.
