Sounds from Memphis boards/articles seem to think we are in the lead for Guerrier...we will know today. This probably means Oregon gets him though...

Jayden Epps, Dillon Mitchell, Malique Ewin and Corhen-Whitmore and more, Frazier is showing alot early imo. He still needs to land one or all....but all players are good, very good.

Frazier will prove himself, as he always does...we will see who can help him.

Of course he is tracking guys. That is what he is supposed to do. So is Alexander who will get announced soon I assume.
Chet certainly wasn't hired as a stud lead recruiter.
He hasn't really shown that in 10 years.
Not really sure why that would change much now.

That is why we are trying to find a more proven lead recruiter.


If we get Guerrier the credit will go to Brad  for selling him on the open role at the 4.

Nobody said they would be unless we had both Kofi coming back and Guerrier decided to come here.  ::)
But, it will not take much for even a marginal tourney team to equal Ayo's stellar tourney record of one win.
I do think his single game total of 6 TOs in a tourney game will stand for awhile.
It may even be a record for Illinois so there is always that.

Talking to kids and putting out offers means absolutely nothing. You act like we have never had fckign coaches make offers before and get recruits. FYI - we had about 30 Top 150 recruits in the last 15 years before OA and Chin. Imagine that.

The whole "I am blessed to be offered" blah blah, and "they really are working hard on me" , blah blah, "They are in on me early" blah blah. Nunn-Hill-Colbert 2013....well we were rolling for awhile with 2 of these...

JCL/Paul/Williams/Jordan....we kept 1 the whole time-2015
Lucas @ 138....didn't he just become a Mormon? - 2016
Smith/Frazier -2017...Thank god we got Frazier...down went Smith
Ayo/Jones..well we kept Ayo thank goodness. -2018 who recruited Ayo?
KOFI...long lives the KING, who got him again? 2019
2020-Miller gone, Curbelo OA got him also....

2017 OA came on board and started the trend...before him we were so fucking up and down and our P-5 conference elite school showed it through recruits. If Chester can step his game up and land some as I alluded, well the drop off will be lesser imo.
