ILLINI might have some problems....but the VIC's ain't one of them!!

Finally the ILLINI are going all in on the Euro's, they bring experience, talent, and quite frankly the staff is doing WAY better than Tommy Lloyd ever did at Gonzaga. The Zags may have led in the early stages of getting talent, but man it seems our ILLINI have perfected it!!

Rewrite the rules or use the system to our advantage I say.

How many years have all lamented about the blue bloods, the money under the table, the NCAA not penalizing others to the same extent as say another school?

Well the tide has turned, and until it goes back out....the $$$ ain't leaving and the scope of rules can be skirted...good job ILLINI for finally being ahead of everyone else it seems!!

Let us know when we get to nine straight S16's.

This team has some decent skill it appears but lacks shooters and athleticism at this point. Stoyakovic will not change the equation much.
We will need to play half court execution and possession ball but this staff doesn't know how to do that.

If they try and run and take 35 threes a game again it will be Groundhog Day, except worse D and rebounding. They are going to have to play Rodgers big minutes.

We'll likely be a tourney team. 50/50 we make sweet sixteen and 10% chance beyond that. Groundhog Day.

We may have the best shooting frontcourt in the sport next year.

Plus there's no way we can be a worse shooting team than this year. So I don't mind the influx of white guys, assuming they shoot better than the one tall slow white dude we had last season.

it just gets boring when I never know who the players are from year to year. Not being on campus, and with a family and a job, I have other things to do. But when Dee Brown plays 4 years, I can turn on the tube in the first month and recognize most of the team. Which is more enjoyable.

If I wanted to watch the NBA, I live in the Bay Area and we have 4 titles in the past decade. At least Steph Curry and Draymond have been there forever. Like - I could give 2 fucks about the NBA but I know more players on the Dubs than I knew on the Illini when the year started.
