It’ll be interesting to see who turns out better, the Fears brothers or the Clark brothers. It’ll be cool to keep an eye on that because it appears Underwood and staff passed on giving the keys to Fears, so he went to MSU. Not sure if his younger brother will follow him there or not.

It’s nice to be able to get to the level as a program where you can pick and choose who you want. Not letting the recruit and their handler bully you into doing something you’re not comfortable with.

Hopkins should figure in now I would think?

Past history with Kepnang, Bates, Foster, Anselem, Wahab and others. Mobile big or traditional big? I vote for a mobile big to get us in line with the Flying Illini days as far as player size and mobility.

I wonder where Illinois ranks versus other schools in potential NIL $$$.  Top 25ish or Top 10ish?

My guess is Top 25 based on location, if Chicago is in full play as far as NIL, then Top 10 for sure. Not sure all available $$$ would come from there, and well CU is small market area so...

If these rankings mean anything, which side do you fall on? Then I think we have interchangable pieces next year with Epps/Clark....Epps is ranked the highest that I have seen before.

Rodgers in at 50. We have 3 Top 99 players in the nation. When was the last time we could say that? Really liking Anderson/Frazier better than OA/Chin to be honest.

We’re in the running for a couple top transfers as well in Emoni Bates, Tre Mitchell, and a couple more. This is already a really good offseason for the Illini and could get even better.

Wouldn't mind the ILLINI making a late run ??? for this kid. Looks to have alot of room for improvement, yet can ball right now...BC/Bama biggest schools listed.



Rankings aren't everything and with this class already, a big with potential would work nicely as this kid would be a 4 yr player and has skills/body now to help.
