All GMs make mistakes, Spielman is no exception. But he’s an above average drafter, and I like the way he approaches the draft. Traded away Stefon Diggs for 4 draft picks, and replaced him with someone even better.

The Cousins deal made sense at the time. He stuck with Zimmer and Cosuins too long though, IMO. He knows the division. I’m not saying he’s my certain top choice, but I’d take him with zero complaints.

Vikings invested too much money in Cousins, just like the Bears did with Mack.
Not enough money left to spend on improving the support players.
And Spielman and Pace missed on some 1st rounders.

Man I guess I have to say if for like the 100th time, but what the hell do you guys expect at this point? Did you think getting rid of Pace and Nagy would actually solve the larger organizational issues?

It’s kind of amazing once you get away from the Chicago echo chamber for a while just how poorly the franchise is regarded these days. It’s nothing but a turnstile of ineffective front office/coaches/personnel just like every other garbage NFL franchise.

Outside of the talking heads and Bears die hards, almost no one gives a fuck about the ancient history and tradition the delusional fan base hangs its threadbare hat on.
