At Sox game waiting through rain delay. Went to the Topo whatever lounge. Saw a fella in line with an Illini basketball shirt. Gave him the old "I-L-L". He literally muttered "I-N-I." That is bullshit!
There are a shit load of ladies here today. Crowd will he well sauced when the game starts.
Hope the kids here from the Boys & Girls Club aren't getting liquored!
Sauced? Liquored?
We went to Boston last week for MIT Freshman orientation. Scotland played 2 games that week at Foxboro, and Boston was overrun with Scottish soccer fans. Suffice to say, we had no idea what "sauced" or "liquored" meant. The Sam Adams Brewpub in Boston RAN OUT OF FUCKING BEER. The Red Sox had a promo on a day in between games where you get a free pint with ticket. 2000 Scots met up in Boston Common, complete with many bagpipers, and marched from the Common to Fenway for the game.
Have to say the Norwegians got a reasonable Silver medal. I talked to a few at South Station at 9 AM of their game day, we were going to Providence for the day, they were waiting for the train to Gillette. Already draining the kegs at the bar at the train station at 9 AM for a 6 PM kickoff.
The bar owners in Chicago gotta be so pissed at Rahm.
