I won’t pretend to know what she’s going through. I can’t imagine the pressure she’s under and having gone through what she has gone through.
I have no doubt that performing that poorly has totally weighed negatively on her mental health. I’ll take her at her word until proven otherwise (impossible) because these things cannot be ignored.
However it does seem a little convenient to play the unassailable Mental Health Card after completely flopping. And of course her teammates aren’t going to turn on her during the games.
Frankly, using her teammates’ on-the-record support as an example of unanimous support for what she did is kind of silly. From a PR perspective they’re even less obliged to opine on this than we cesspoolers are.
Last but not least her Uber Eats commercials are fucking garbage. Not because they have LGBTQ+ people in them, but because they’re unfunny to the point of being completely cringeworthy.
Also, pretty much everyone has mental health issues or some sort. I’m diagnosed. I still had to go to work.
