Devastating! I’m sure it can be found, but it’s far from an Irish “staple” in Ireland. I’d be willing to bet it’s not on the menu at 90+% of Irish bars/restaurants!

The prosperity gospel made Christianity more palatable by changing  6 of the 7 deadly sins into virtues.

Easter is when Jesus came out of his cave and saw his shadow, so he went back in and we had 6 more weeks of winter. Then rabbits stole eggs from chickens and hid them.

To be honest, I never got the part of humans needing a blood sacrifice to be saved, or a why a benevolence deity would demand one. Also, don't get the purpose of symbolic ritual cannibalism.

That said, I like the Sermon on the Mount and believe the world would be a better place if anyone actually put those teachings into practice.
