Yes I think it’s locked up honestly. He’s planning to announce in April. Underwood has made it very clear to him that Ayo is gone and he can step in a replace him right away.

We need to recruit a center. I like Hamlin’s potential as a defender, but I’m not sure about his offense.

5-star center Boakye is a must get. I mentioned him earlier on in the recruiting thread. He’s a ‘22 recruit, but might reclassify to ‘21. We have a great shot at him and he sees what we’ve done with Kofi. He’s imo the absolute #1 recruit the Illini need to get. Would love to get TyTY Washington, but think that ship sailed. I think I’d rather have him than Burnett, but I’d be happy with just Burnett....or both?!😂

If that happens it will soften the wounds here. We will be reloading and hopefully do better next year.

Just my opinion I’d say 90% locked. I think one of the reasons triggered not pulled is TyTy Washington is still out there. I would almost wager my house we get one of the two, but not both. Also we’re in the hunt for Brandin Podziemski who was Wisconsin Mr. Basketball.
