I don’t know where in Central IL you grew up but I remember you saying at one time you have farm family in Sheldon area. There aren’t many Jews in Iroquois county. Probably even fewer in Robinson, IL. Being Jewish is like an abstract idea if you grew up on farm country before the internet. Idk it might be an age difference thing too but before the internet the word “Jew” to me meant someone who was tight with their money first and someone the Nazi’s killed second. I suppose in more populated areas of central IL there were enough neo nazis that people might know the word. There’s a ton of fuckin weirdos in the Peoria/Spfld/Decatur corridor to go around.

But anyways maybe he knew what it meant. If he did, I bet he picked it up sometime after leaving Robinson IL.

He can shoot a little bit, but not a lot else. Does little work inside. Really odd lack of ever developing much of a game even after being in league for 9 years and having plus athletic skills.
I think he even worked with Drew Hanlen for awhile to try and develop more game.

He is screwed now. A 30 year old journeyman coming off an injury season and now has a racist rep in a socially conscious league that is at forefront of combating racism.
The Heat have publicly distanced and the NBA is investigating. No way he stays with them in a community and state with significant Jewish population.
Actually I bet he is done. 
Maybe Europe if he cares about BB, but I think he is likely set for life if he wasn't stupid with his money.
Nobody in the gaming industry will want to touch him either.
Not sure what he will do.
Life is deservedly hard when you are outed as publicly acting in racist manner for anyone in most fields, except for public office where it is apparently condoned now.

Can confirm. I don't believe he didn't know what it meant, but it's very possible he's lived his entire life with no meaningful interaction with Judaism or how sharp the slurs hit.
