The first half was overall brilliant basketball (both teams).  Things got a little sloppy in the second, but we made enough plays to hang on. 

Best win of the year.

BTW, Grandison is giving some good minutes. He’s not as good a defender or shooter as Damonte, but he has some real hustle and he is more decisive with the ball. Having a guy who can operate in the high post like him makes it tough for teams to zone us too.

Not sure if Grandison can jump more than 4” but plays hard and seems to have a nose for the ball that’s for sure.

Iowa is very very good when hitting threes in transition, and there is something to be said for the idea that if they beat us and then win BTT they have outside shot to get a 1 seed.

That said- I think we handle them based upon better defense. Iowa has too many defensive breakdowns and unless they go nuts from 3 we should win.

Iowa is #1 in defensive efficiency in the conference over their last 10 games.  2 teams scored more than 70 pts.

The 6 before that stretch all went over 70.
The 10 game stretch includes Nebraska, PSU, Indiana, Rutgers and 3 vs Wisco.
