Yes, being down two bigger guys that can defend/rebound when playing a team that can throw some beef at you is a disadvantage. Add in Kofi’s unexpected foul trouble, and it had a big impact on the game.
We had 6’3” (maybe) DMW playing defense on guys even bigger than usual. Hawkins was playing the five. Admittedly, he did a pretty fair job of it for a guy that started the season playing a point forward role.
And let’s just throw out the fact that RJ has emerged as a real bright spot on both ends of the floor the last few weeks.
