Kofi can be neutralized by guys with size who guard. Can’t run good offense in the half-court without Kofi or 3s. Guards too small to stop other potent guards.

Running out of excuses. This team is underachieving, and could be playing themselves into a 5 seed.

Hopefully that last 6 minutes was a team unifying moment. They’re barely scratching the surface of what they could be, but at a time they should be getting better, they are not.

I think Trent for sure got bodied on the turnover. Leave it to the idiot officials to swallow the whistle. You know if that was Liddell or Branham, that's a foul with the death penalty following suit.

We didn't lay down and lose by 25 like I thought it would end up. Credit to the kids for not quitting and giving themselves a chance at the end at least.

But it continues to be a recurring theme for us: we build a early double digit lead, lose focus, commit a flagrant/technical and breathe new life into the opponent. We cannot continue to have those runs where we get blitzed and the game gets away from us not long after. Just can't happen.

32-17 WAS THE FOUL DIFFERENCE...so much for home cooking???

ILLINI fouled alot, but hell the Buckeyes did as well....call it both ways is all.

ILLINI have to be stronger with a lead, BU, has to find a way to keep energy level high.

Hawkins came on late, maybe a plus moving forward, defense should have at least sporadically pressed way earlier, Ohio St. guards are garbage except for the freshman pro that lit us up.

Getting the boot was the best thing he did all night. That was the just the spark they needed to almost pull it off.

Other than being stubborn, I dont think it should be that difficult.
Change defenses up. Get them out of their comfort zone.

Yep. Agree completely. Last year I really liked the team and their potential and that came to a screeching halt two days into the tourney.

This team is above average but not much better than that. Things really need to click cause talent alone isn't there and won't win us tight games.

At this point my only goal is a sweet sixteen. It needs to happen. If not, actually not going to go there. Just get to the SS after almost a few decades of not doing it.

We have been out of sorts for awhile. 6-5 over last 11 games. We are not coming together down the stretch like we have the last 2 years.
Not sure what the answers are, but we have the talent.
