All of Minny's losses have been on the road by an average of 20 points.
Official winner of the HQ Tallest Midget award. Thanks, Jobu!

It’s kind of a shame we don’t have a home and home with Iowa this year but given the situation I’m very glad we get them in Champaign. Hopefully the game will be officiated in a way that allows Kofi to be physical with Garza enough that we don’t have to hedge off their shooters too much. We are one of the few teams that has someone that can bother him defensively without doubling.

Garza will still get his but you just can’t give up a ton of open threes. Trent and Curbelo are a little shorter than ideal for closing out three point shooters so you really hate to have to double Garza when they’re in the game. Kofi will need to play smart and avoid fouls or we could get mauled even at home.

I could see Iowa getting really deep in the tourney with the right draw but could also see them getting beat by a quick swarming mid major team with a bunch of athletic 6’5-6’-9 guys

The Nebraska uniforms are absolutely wretched. The front is bad enough, but with the huskers script on the back I can’t even learn the names of any of their unknown players.

They have a few guys with dreads, one with a buckwheat updo, an African looking fellow and a pasty white guy that looks like exactly like Opie Taylor. None of them appeared to be very good at basketball.

xxxx can shoot the 3 and Garza is a beast down low. He gets away with way too much imo. If you double down on him, they have great three-point shooters that hit at a very high %. If they get hot from 3, it’s over. They’re happy/comfortable with just trying to out score you and playing no D.

They have a lot of offensive talent, are deeper than us and can go with different size lineups. Have several guys who can score big on a given night and Garza, although the slowest player in the country, is relentless worker. Will be tough.

The disparity in athletic quality was front and center.  I'm not a recruiting nerd but Juwan seems to have way more "stars" on his squad.  There's a lot of length there.  Too bad we don't get them at home.

Michigan is good. Real good. I think Wagner is going to be a nightmare. We have nobody really to guard him as we are too small at the 3/4 and he can do a lot of things.
Might be one of more multi talented players I have seen this year.

Dunno- we are halfway through and they keep improving.
They do not appear to have any real major roster makeup gap, are well coached, have a bench, can shoot, have a veteran PG, good Post, athletic versatile wings, and they guard.
I think the freshman center will struggle at some point, but they are the most complete team in BIG so far. Just my opinion.
They also have a very favorable schedule.

Well Michigan looked like ass today. Missing Brooks was no excuse. They had worst game of the year. It happens. Their PG was awful and he had been very good. The freshman center and Wagner had a bad game also.
I felt like they were very good and top 8 ish before this. Some had them as a 1 seed. Not yet.

The Robbins kid from Minny is quite a story. He was a benchwarmer at the small school Catholic HS here in Davenport until his senior year and was just a big kid.
I barely recall him as not much more more than a big body and know the HS players in area pretty well. Had no D1 offers.
Went to prep school and lost 65 lbs.
Developed at Drake.
Is now 13/8 in BIG and looking like a very legit post who can step out a little bit.

Minny is not anything that special, but tough at home it appears and have now beaten Iowa and Michigan.

Purdue won by 2 points. I can't be too disappointed, though, as it helps Illinois.

Besides, earlier today WR Chris Olave announced he is returning for his senior year. That means the best receiver at Ohio State (projected 1st round pick if he left) will be making acrobatic catches against Big Ten DBs for one more season. Even more good news -- all 5 of the top receivers this season at OSU are returning. Now we just gotta find a new QB.

I'll make the OSU BB loss for Chris Olave return trade 10 out of 10 times.
