Have DTV on vacation, test driving YouTube TV.

YTTV was a pain to set up. I finally got it done and they told me I was no longer eligible for a free trial. I was on the phone an hour getting that fixed.Their customer service was  rude and condescending.

There is no on demand. The library is a joke. No Ovation. I bet it will be hard to cancel.

Looking at Hulu.

None of this matches my experience.

For "On Demand" - I've just told it to tape all the world cup games and they are there when I want to watch them. Same for any TV shows. Also functions as a Blockbuster, they have on demand movies for the same rando prices as Amazon Prime.

With DTV I can watch old episodes of popular programs on demand without having to record them. I can record a show to an actual dvr and either keep it indefinitely or delete it whenever..

If I want to record Law and Order on DTV I can tell it to record new episodes only on NBC only. I can watch and delete. If I record it on YTTV, it records all the darn reruns on various channels. I can't delete them. 

I can delete individually episodes on DTV. On YTTV I can only delete the whole series
