Sandfort went nuclear in the first half. Mast took over in the 2nd and the Garcia kid gave them a spark off the bench. They won all the hustle plays.

We had our issues today, mainly on defense, but I'm not gonna pretend the Huskers aren't legit. They proved today coming in here and beating us after the 30 point ass whupping they just put on Wisconsin.

But we were down the whole game. The better team today won.

I don't see us beating the top teams in the big ten and definitely not twice for those we play twice.

Looking like a 2-3 seed is likely out. But at this point I'd be happy with a 4-5 seed.

And yet ANOTHER CAREER NIGHT AGAINST our ILLINI, always gotta be one, good thing we hired the wonderkid to take over the defense. Geesh.

21-9 FREE THROW variance, lose by 3 on last second shot and leave 6 points on the line...

29 3's and lose a close game, is flippin ridiculous. This team has so far to go, and the new year is right around the corner.

At best a 6 seed in the tourney after this loss. Losing basketball to Nebraska is akin to Nebraska in it's heyday losing to ILLINI in football. FF Sakes

I was wondering if/when you might stop by.
I think we played some defense in Underwood's early years but turned the ball over 20 times or so a game.
We've cut our turnovers down by quite a bit so far this year but defense appears to be optional.

Hoiberg said post-game that the final play was going to who Boswell wasn't guarding.

Been watching them when I can.
A lot of skill.
Lack athleticism and are little soft.
Could use a guy like Rodgers to help.

Hoiberg is right. Boswell is only guy who is a plus defender.
He has really improved here.
