One made three doesn't change anything.

He actually made 2 very clutch ones, his rebounding, switching and his defense were all good and needed tonight.

He sucked ass in the first part of the second half when bama built their lead

Offense was disjointed for much of the game but the opportunities to take back control of the game presented themselves. We just couldn't hit the big shot or the big free throws when it mattered most.

Frustrating loss, but still encouraged by this group's ceiling. Learn and move on. GG Tide.

Well we still match to terribly against smaller fast teams. Let's just hope we avoid bama, Houston, etc on our way to the final four

Houston won't be there to run into, probably the most over ranked highly ranked team this year. They are not as strong as in previous ones.

He sucked ass in the first part of the second half when bama built their lead

and your putting that on Humrichous? C'mon, you got to be kidding.

11 pts - 6 rebounds - 2 blocks (one on a for sure breakaway 2 pts) and 4 PF playing hard nosed defense in 26 minutes....I mean he has some flaws, but this game ain't on him.

FREE THROWS were the ONLY thing that cost us this game....all else even across the board for most part!

Well that was disappointing

Saying that you never watched Illinois choke like dogs in Chicago without saying that you never watched Illinois choke like dogs in Chicago.

Again, Tempo has said Free Shots don't matter.

So what is your excuse for this year's debacle? Same shit every year.

Shocking that free shots acrually matter

“Shocking” that you’re still acting as if someone said they don’t.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Tempo says they don't matter. Then again, he thinks Justin Fields is an actual NFL QB.

Again, Tempo has said Free Shots don't matter.

Again, utter bullshit as I never said this; yet 3 or 4 years later here you are still beating that dead horse of a strawman.

What I actually said was that I wouldn’t get too wrapped up in an off night from the line (mostly due to freshman bigs) in a 30 point win in early November. And of course that became a years’ long rant of “Tempo says free shots don’t matter!” LMAO

The OP, 'FT shot shooting going to be an issue ?'

That question was AOTC. We finished the season 300 out of 352.
That is an issue.

This little tidbit was in the EIU thread also. Lol.

I'm not sure we showed disjointed offense vs TxTech. We sure did last night in the 2nd half.

We jacked up some 3s that were not in the offense. Similar to 2024. After the TxTech game I was hoping that we had a higher IQ than last year. But last year's IQ reared it's ugly head in the 2nd half.
Bama sped us up and we obliged.

We went 9-17 on free shots and 3-12 from 3 in the 2nd half.
That's disappointing and a huge step backwards from the TxTech game.

None of this is new - shoot a ton of 3's,  give up a halftime lead, miss free throws, and turn the ball over (although that wasn't as bad).
