Schedule is about to get a lot more difficult.

Steelers (getting rudolph is a break) - Loss
Philly @ Philly - Loss
GB @ GB - Loss
Cleveland - win on a last second FG by Santos after Bagent, subbing for Williams, drives the field
GB - Loss
SF @ SF - Loss
Detroit (lucky this is at home) - Win against Lions backups, but Bears lose tiebreaker for last WC spot

This is a much much tougher schedule than they just went through

Perhaps. But the Bears increased their playoff chances by 31% today (to 66%). I’d still put it closer to even.

Not sure I buy that. It’s been a fun story to this point, sneaking past (bit slaying) bums but the last stretch is significantly tougher and they could very easily be around .500 at the end of the regular season. Maybe that gets them in, idk.

This Pittsburgh game is pretty damn important. We need 3 more wins to secure a playoff bid (one would think). Pittsburgh at home is easily one of the more winnable games. We are going to get buttplugged by Philly. Can’t ever assume we’re going to beat GB. Lions is the best situation we could ask for, but probably not a given. @SF can’t be called a layup by any means; and Cleveland is not good but that defense brutalizes quarterbacks, so we’re lucky that one is at home. Pittsburgh, Cleveland, @home against Detroit probably our 3 most probable wins.

I am worried our injuries and good fortune are going to catch up with us.

1) We gotta play 'em one day at a time.
2) I'm just happy to be here. Hope I can help the ballclub.
3) I just want to give it my best shot, and the good Lord willing, things will work out.

As largely expected, the Bears will be minus their top 3 linebackers vs Pittsburgh.

Ruben Hyppolite, D’Marco Jackson and some guy named Amen will be their linebackers. At least one of them is named Amen.

Total career tackles for this linebacking unit: 78

So like 7 games for TJ Edwards.
