Are we really that "much" better than what we had. Shooting wise, yes and no. We take a lot, we make more than we used too, but we also get intangible play/talent that overall is far better than what we had. That said, we "should" keep taking the ball inside. I think BU is missing the boat here in failing to recognize that is our strength NOT 3's as much as he wants to shoot them. If he were to revert back to the inside game this year, I think we go further than the keep shooting them philosphy.

Nationally, we're 5th in 3pt attempts per game at 30.9.
Nationally, we're 319th out of 355 in 3 pt percentage at .307

We're dead last in conference games in percentage at 27.6. Washington, at #17, shoots 3's at a 30.8% clip.

Underwood doesn't appear to have an issue with those numbers.

Using just raw shooting stats is a little misleading. We take some shots we normally wouldn’t take because we get a high percentage of rebounds that can turn into baskets. So the effective percentage is higher than 27. This latest slump really cratered the numbers and definitely requires adjustment to strategy, namely what I’ve been saying for a month that we need to eliminate the contested threes and work those possessions through the post.
