I think we will probably be more like 12-8 with a couple huge wins and some big letdowns. But wouldn’t surprise me if we were 14-6 and pushing for the league title.

At this point we're 1st by quite a bit in 3 pt attempts, 620 vs the #2 team with 549.
The #2 team has 3 more points on the season from 3. Lol

At this point we're #17 in 3 point percentage made.
Washington, at 10-10 and 1-8 in conference, brings up the rear.

Thanks for posting this.
It looks like MSU is below us in 3pt % and Washington a slot ahead.

We put up 32 from 3 yesterday and came in at 28% or so. We got a must have win but I don't think the staff saw your pre-game comments about shooting 3s. Lol

We rebound the hell out of our misses, so it does essentially change the effective rate made, and our metrics are solid. I think we just eliminate those stupid step back contested ones we take 3-5 of per game and we’ll be fine.

We usually do that for sure. A lot of ways to balance things out for good efficiency.
I think tightening this up down the stretch is important.
If one roughly equates possessions with one point, giving up 3-5 extra possessions to good teams then has to be made up for in other ways (Off Reb/Creating TO's/high FG% on 2's/high FT rate/ stopping fastbreaks/stopping second chance points/ def 3 pt eff,  etc).
The opponent is trying to also gain an advantage in the same things.

We do not make the best decisions on possessions sometimes.
I will get criticized for saying this, but we are not that athletic or physical IMO. Solid athletes, and a lot of length and skills which is a plus. Well, except the mediocre overall three ball shooting.
