There have been hints. Reports that the veterans were not happy with Caleb being annointed and not really held accountable. That was discussed midseason. Herbstreit threw it out there as well, hard to believe that would have been completely random. Eberflus wasn’t fired for creating a culture of no accountability afterall.

We would have specifically heard this from differing sources if this was an issue with the veterans

Herbstreit also claimed he had no reason to believe what he was saying.

Again, there would have been a feeding frenzy and there really has not been..
